Job Summary:
The Food Service Associate plays a vital role in providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including operating the POS system, preparing food, and maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:

    • Greet customers warmly and assist with taking orders.
    • Communicate effectively with customers regarding menu items, order details, comments, and complaints.
    • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  2. Cash Handling and POS Operations:

    • Operate the POS system to process orders and accept payments.
    • Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment accurately.
    • Provide correct change and maintain a balanced cash register.
  3. Food Preparation:

    • Prepare and cook menu items, including fries, burgers, chicken strips, and other light cooking tasks.
    • Assemble and serve beverages as per customer orders.
    • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
  4. Cleaning and Maintenance:

    • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping and mopping the kitchen and dining areas.
    • Sanitize surfaces, equipment, and utensils to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
  5. Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with team members to ensure efficient kitchen and front-of-house operations.
    • Assist in other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the business.
