Description |
Consistently implement South Umpqua High School's curriculum, catering to each student's unique needs. Support the lead teacher in activities and flow of the classroom. Prepare classroom equipment and instructional materials for lessons. Perform record keeping duties associated with the classroom including attendance and grade calculation. Instruct students in proper classroom procedures and behavior. Collaborate with teachers on a regular basis regarding student progress. Adapt instructional materials as necessary to meet special education guidelines. |

The student will learn what it is like for a teacher to not only instruct students but also prepare lessons and enter grades. They will also learn how to deal with difficult students and to try to keep the classroom funtioning at all times. |
