Description |
Maintain cleanliness in the classroom 1. Wipe tables before meals and after meals. 2. Sweep and sanitize/mop floor and chairs after each meal. 3. Make sure that supplies are stocked, including spray bottles for cleaning a. check bleach water with test strips every Monday and make more bleach water solution as needed as a backup in the cupboard. b. refill soapy cleaner with ¼ teaspoon of dawn dishwashing liquid and fill it up with water. c. paper towels on top of fridge d. hand soap filled for bathroom and sink in the classroom. 4. Keep the counter area cleaned off as much as possible. Anything that can be put away, put away. Our licensor has threated to write us up over this in the past, so it is a big deal to keep it tidy 5. Clean refrigerator at least monthly by wiping all of the shelves with bleach water and clean more as needed if there is food spilled 6. Clean and sanitize sinks and the floors in the child bathroom and classroom at least once a day, more if needed 7. Clean and sanitize toilets at least once a day, more if needed (spot checks during the day for pee spills) 8. As time allows, wipe down all surfaces in the Preschool room, including toy shelves and cubbies, windows and windowsills. Toys that can be washed can be run through the sanitizer or the clothes washer once a week or as needed. Magnet blocks should be hand wiped with bleach water solution. 9. Sweep all the floors, including by the front door, daily, shake out rugs as needed 10. Empty Preschool garbage if more than half full or if full of food. 11. Empty Preschool bathroom trash every Friday, unless it gets full before then. (Poopy pullups should be taken out daily and should be bagged up separately. Snack Prep and clean up (this could change if we get an afternoon Aide on the Toddler side and become a shared job, every other day or something like that) 1. At no later than 2:50, come to the kitchen to get food out and set up for snack for both sides. 2. Leave a little extra food behind for 2nds for the Toddlers and take the rest for the Preschoolers 3. After the snack is over bring the cart back and wash any remaining dishes and put on drying rack when done. 4. Turn off the dishwasher as soon as the last load is run. 5. Sanitize sinks, counters, sweep and mop kitchen floor. 6. Kitchen garbage goes out daily. 7. Move any laundry in the washer, to the dryer and start drying mode. |
