Description

Good communication skills are required and the ability to problem solve is essential. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, personable, efficient and contributes to a positive work environment. Assist with patron accounts, check items in / out, Issue new cards, troubleshoot account problems, place and process holds, create new accounts, answer library questions and respond to patron inquiries (via phone, e-mail or in-person), operate the circulation desk, other routine circulation tasks. Shelve library inventory, use the cash register to manage daily cash transactions (donations and services). Troubleshoot basic computer and copier/printer problems. Assist manager with programming publicity. Perform other duties as assigned.




Educational Aspect

Organizational, customer service, timeliness skills; general library operation and assistance.
