Communicate nonverbally with children to provide them with comfort, encouragement, or positive reinforcement.
Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines.
Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, or social skills, to preschool students.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Develop strategies or programs for students.
Teach life skills.
Collaborate with other teaching professionals to develop educational programs.
Encourage students.
Monitor student performance.
